The El Gouna IGFA Red Sea Championship is a fishing tournament run by Ethical Anglers under IGFA supervision. The event page gives the dates of the 4th edition as 4 to 8 January 2027.
The page calls it the official gateway to qualify for the 2028 Offshore World Championship in Costa Rica. It runs in collaboration with the Egyptian Angling Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Environment, and says spots are limited.
